Exploring women’s pleasure, desire and arousal with sexologist Jen Vellios

Special Event: Women’s desires, arousal and pleasure with Psychologist & Sexologist Jen Vellios, Gabriella de Mori & Co Counselling.

We are thrilled to invite you to attend a special Women’s Cave event by our compassion-focused Registered Psychologist & Sexologist, Jen Vellios.

Jen is hosting two workshops to help women explore and reconnect to their sexual selves and activate their desire, arousal and pleasure through evidence-based sexology and mindfulness.

You would greatly enjoy this workshop if:

  • You worry that you’re not made for pleasure or can’t figure out what you like

  • The only sex ed you received was awkward, fear-based, or squeezed into a Year 6 phys ed class in 1985!

  • You find that sex is only pleasurable for your partner and/or struggle to communicate to your partner or lover what you like or want

  • You feel frustrated that you ‘take so long’

  • You put pressure on yourself to ‘hurry up.’

  • You can’t relax during sex or feel too in your head

  • You feel disconnected from your pleasure

  • If you’re craving an understanding of your body from a pleasure perspective.

  • If you hold beliefs that pleasure is for everyone else, but somehow not for you

  • If you feel disconnected from your sexual self

  • If you feel shame, anxiety, or confusion around your pleasure and libido

  • If you often think, “What’s wrong with me?”

This space is for you if:

  • You’re ready to move beyond “What’s wrong with me?” and into “What’s true for me?” when it comes to sexuality and desire.

  • You’ve ever felt confused, ashamed, or disconnected from your sexual self.

  • You want to reconnect with your body, deepen your understanding of female sexuality, and challenge outdated myths about desire.

  • This workshop will offer the clarity, compassion, and reconnection you’ve been craving.

  • Learn how to bring mindfulness into your experience of pleasure.

  • Receive a take-home meditation to reconnect with yourself.

  • Feel reconnected to your sexual self in your own body,.

  • Explore common myths and unhelpful messages about female pleasure that aren’t helping.

  • Identify subconscious beliefs that could be impacting your libido without you even knowing it.

  • Experience a de-shaming, pleasure-filled approach to female desire and libido- finally!

  • Build confidence through pleasure-based education so you can explore more freely and ask for what you desire

  • Develop compassion for your sexual process and take home practices you can return to anytime you feel disconnected.

  • Gain language, models, and embodied insight to better understand and express your sexual self.

We invite you into a shame-free, pleasure-positive space in a professional environment:

You might feel shy about attending this class, and that’s totally okay. Please know that these classes are filled with like-minded women who are also curious about female pleasure.

As heart-centred therapists, we hold a gentle and confidential space for everyone. We’ll help you feel at ease, laugh, and explore these important topics together.

If you feel shame around this topic, this class could be especially powerful for you. I’ll help you uncover and dismantle the myths and unhelpful beliefs that may be standing in the way of your pleasure.

If you feel like you don’t know much about pleasure, you’re not alone. That’s exactly why I created this class—because I know most women didn’t receive a pleasure-based sex ed. This is a unique opportunity to access the information you should’ve had all along.

All our classes at GdM & Co are mindful, inclusive, welcoming, and heart-centred—hosted in our stunning and confidential private practice in Cottesloe.

If you're curious about this topic but would prefer confidential 1:1 counselling with me instead, don’t hesitate to reach out here.

It’s time to move beyond “What’s wrong with me?” and into “What’s true for me?” with professional, contemporary guidance.

This space is for folks ready to move beyond “What’s wrong with me?” and into “What’s true for me?” when it comes to sexuality and desire.

For anyone who has ever felt confused, ashamed, or disconnected from their sexual self—this workshop offers clarity, compassion, and reconnection.

This is not a performance-based sex ed class. It’s a space to slow down, get curious, and come home to your body.
